Elizabeth Mariwalla

RMHCI

PRIMARY THERAPIST

Elizabeth attended Emory University where she obtained her B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Ethics, and a Master of Arts in Bioethics. She continued her training at Richmont Graduate University, obtaining a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with her area of interest in addiction and behavioral health.

As a bioethicist at the busiest pediatric hospital system in the country, Elizabeth faced the intricacies of family health and childhood disease while also gaining perspective on nuanced coping mechanisms exhibited by patients and providers of all ages. This gave her a unique and powerful platform to engage with recovering addicts and their families to navigate individual journeys of recovery and wellness.

At her core, encompassing both Eastern and Western philosophies, Elizabeth believes that we are not bound by our wounds, but rather we can find meaning in the suffering and become purposeful healers.
